Job Description We are looking for a Facility Manager who will be part of Global Services Real Estate organisation and will report to Head of Real Estate and General Admin. This position is responsible for the handling of Facility Maintenance, Energy Management and Project Management functions for Danfoss Chennai Factory. Job Responsibilities Supervise the operation and maintenance of utility services, electricity supply (110KV HV Sub station), HVAC (Turbocor Chillers), Water treatment plants (STP/ETP), UPS, DG sets and air compressors (HP and LP) Site supervision and other activities regarding execution of facility expansion project Project activities for building and utility modifications Promote the digital management of factory facilities, to achieve stable, efficient and convenient facility service. ESG Responsible for compliance of Scope 1 and Scope 2 Operation and Maintenance of Renewable Energy resources in plant and premises. Mange all the building facility equipment ledger and all the standard files about equipment precaution operation running and maintenance. Implement of prevention maintenance annual and monthly maintenance repair and spare parts procurement. Review the related reports, grasp the equipment operation state, found the problem and analysis the reason in time, to ensure the all the facility equipment are in good operation at any time. Provide stable facility supply for both office and production line. Ensure a steady supply of water, electricity, air condition and gas. Responsible for rushing repair on accident conditions. Manage and coordinate the service contractors and equipment suppliers. Manage the performance and evaluation for the supplier s spot check, maintenance. Manage the statistics and analysis of energy consumption and offer and execute energy saving suggestion. Fulfilling the duty of environment protection, occupational safety and safety in production and operation. Implement Energy efficient solutions across operations and benchmark with applicable Standards. Annual Budget Planning and Control (Capex/Opex) for Project Facility Management Background Skills Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering with 10 12 years building facility experience, with large size industry is preferred Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Building Maintenance Systems, Security Systems). Superior networking, influencing, negotiating, and collaborating competencies. Experience with cross cultural teams in multiple locations in a global set up Knowledge and hand on experience on handling External Audits on ISO 14001:2015 ISO 45001:2018 Knowledge on Water consumption analysis and techniques to reduce Setting strategic direction for Energy Efficiency and decarbonization journey to achieve the carbon neutrality Ensure the compliance to all Legal Statutory Requirements (TNEB, Electrical Inspector, CPCB, DISH) Danfoss Engineering Tomorrow At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
