Job Description

As a skilled and reliable Facility Electrician, your role will involve managing electrical systems and maintenance work at the Head Office, with the flexibility to visit project sites when necessary. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and regular inspection of electrical systems in office buildings and site-based facilities. It is crucial that you are well-versed in safety standards and can collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors. Key Responsibilities: - Install and repair electrical systems such as wiring, lighting, switches, distribution panels, and power outlets. - Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment at the head office and various site locations. - Diagnose electrical faults like short circuits, overloaded circuits, or equipment failures and conduct prompt repairs. - Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety codes and local regulations. - Provide immediate response and support for electrical emergencies, including power outages or system malfunctions. - Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams for office or site installations. - Utilize and maintain tools, testing equipment, and safety gear for electrical tasks. - Coordinate with office staff, engineers, and site teams to plan and execute electrical tasks according to project requirements. - Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, inspections, and materials used. - Be prepared to travel to various project sites for installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting work. Requirements: - ITI/Certificate in electrical trade preferred. - Possess a valid electrician license or certification mandated by local/state authorities. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building or facility electrical systems. - Knowledge of electrical equipment, safety standards, and energy-saving practices. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical layouts. - Willingness to travel to site locations as needed. - Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Physically fit and capable of working in indoor and outdoor environments.
