Job Description

Role Overview: As a Facilities & Maintenance Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee all building-related activities to ensure that the facilities are safe, well-functioning, and efficiently maintained. You will play a crucial role in preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that all equipment and utilities are fully operational to support daily operations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all facility operations including maintenance, repairs, safety, and cleanliness. - Plan and coordinate all installations such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing as well as refurbishments. - Manage and supervise a team of technicians and custodial staff to ensure smooth operations. - Monitor building systems including HVAC, lighting, security, and fire protection systems for optimal performance. - Schedule preventive maintenance tasks to avoid downtime and ensure the long-term reliability of equipment. - Liaise with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance, repairs, or facility upgrades. - Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building codes, and legal regulations at all times. - Manage facility budgets effectively to ensure cost-effectiveness in operations. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs for documentation purposes. - Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and address facility-related issues in a timely manner. - Oversee space utilization planning and internal office moves or modifications while managing housekeeping staff and security. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Facilities & Maintenance Manager or similar role in managing building-related activities. - Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment maintenance procedures. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively. - Ability to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and legal regulations. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle facility-related issues efficiently.
