Job Description Location: Anywhere in India Experience:

8+ years Requirement:

• Manual Functional Testing of S4 applications
• Testing of UI5/Fiori Apps
• Experience in Jira and Zephyr
• Test Case Creation / Test Case Execution / Bug Reporting in Jira tool
• Experience in integration testing (nice to have)
• Experience in BTP (nice to have)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning & Preparation

• Review functional specifications (FS/BRD) and understand business process requirements.
• Identify test scenarios and test cases for assigned S/4 modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI).
• Prepare test data (e.g., vendors, materials, invoices, sales orders).
• Map requirements to test cases for coverage tracking (using tools like ALM, Jira)

2. Test Execution

• Execute test cases in SAP S/4HANA system (using Fiori apps or SAP GUI).
• Verify that each transaction and process works as per design.
• Validate integration across modules
• Capture test evidence (screenshots, logs, reports) for audit and traceability.
• Log defects in defect tracking tools e.g. Jira
• Retest and close defects after fixes.

3. Defect Management

• Perform root cause analysis discussions with Architects and developers.
• Update defect status and comments daily.
• Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and plan fixes.
• Re-run failed test cases after fixes are deployed.

4. Test Reporting

• Update daily test execution status and defect reports.
• Track progress against test plan (pass/fail/block counts).
• Share updates with Test Lead / Functional Lead.

5. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support

• Support business users during UAT by explaining processes or reproducing issues.
• Validate business scenarios in real-time with users.
