Job Role We are looking for a results-driven Senior Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials such as pipes, flanges, fittings, gaskets, castings, and structural items for our fabrication and skid manufacturing projects. Key Responsibilities Review material requisitions & technical delivery conditions (TDCs) from Engineering Float enquiries and coordinate vendor offers and technical evaluations Raise accurate POs in Zoho platform and ensure proper documentation Track order progress and ensure on-time delivery to factory stores Coordinate with QC and Stores for material inwarding and inspections Maintain and expand vendor base for raw materials and project consumables Ensure adherence to company procurement ethics and compliance policies Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) On-Time PO Release: 95% of POs released within 3-7 days of receipt of stock verification from Stores Vendor On-Time Delivery: 90% of materials received in factory before committed delivery date PO Accuracy: 98% of POs without revision due to errors in specs, quantities, or terms KPI based performance incentives may apply. Qualifications & Experience Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering 6-9 years of relevant procurement experience in an engineering/manufacturing company Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, ANSI codes; exposure to ASME U stamp audits preferred Good understanding of metallurgies: CS, LTCS, SS, DSS, Nickel & Copper alloys Experience using Zoho or other ERP platforms for procurement workflow

Qualification- Degree/ Diploma In mechanical or Manufacturing 4-8 year experience in Machine Manufacturing industry Estimate costs for machined and fabricated components. Conduct reverse engineering for project cost analysis. Collaborate with design, purchase, and production teams. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for new and existing parts. Analyze material, labor, and machining cost factors. Support procurement with accurate vendor cost benchmarking. Assist in budgeting and project planning activities. Maintain cost databases and estimation records. Ensure timely submission of estimation reports.

Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Plan, Direct, and Control Fabrication Activities: Develop and implement detailed plans for each phase of hull fabrication, ensuring compliance with shipbuilding schedules, cost targets, and technical specifications. 2. Manage Steel Preparation and Cutting Operations: Oversee the preparation, cutting, and shaping of steel plates, ensuring accurate execution according to design blueprints and specifications. 3. Supervise TTS Panel Production and Block Fabrication: Lead the production of TTS panels and block assembly, ensuring they meet structural integrity requirements and project timelines. 4. Oversee Blasting and Painting Operations: Manage surface preparation and painting to ensure proper adherence, corrosion resistance, and longevity of hull components. 5. Implement Quality and Safety Standards: Establish protocols to ensure quality at each production stage, with a strong focus on safety procedures to minimize risks to personnel and property. 6. Coordinate with Engineering for Technical Specifications: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to interpret blueprints and adjust fabrication plans to accommodate technical changes or improvements. 7. Conduct Inspections and Troubleshooting: Inspect finished hull components to verify compliance with quality and specifications, troubleshoot and address any deviations as necessary. 8. Report Production Status to Senior Management: Provide regular updates on production status, challenges, and key metrics to senior management, recommending actions as needed to stay on track with objectives. 9. Ensure Compliance with Maritime Standards: Oversee adherence to industry and regulatory standards, including ISO, classification society requirements, and customer-specific standards. 10. Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure that departmental operations comply with relevant processes and procedures. Monitor and control deployment of manpower, and resources including the second shift and/or third/ night shift and emergent work on site/ shop on non-working days. 11. Oversee Resource Management: Take responsibility for the effective management of raw materials, equipment logistics, human resources, and administrative processes. 12. Review Scope of Work: Establish production objectives, standards, and schedules to ensure timely delivery of all projects. 13. Liaise with Project Managers, Clients, and Class Societies: Engage in discussions regarding project matters to resolve any issues. 14. Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts for process improvement and change management. 15. Accurate Record Keeping for Billing: Ensure that all activities are accurately documented for billing purposes. 16. Ensure Value Chain Efficiency: Maintain value chain principles throughout the production process. 17. Authorize Purchases: Approve the procurement of equipment, spare parts, and materials as necessary.
