Role Description

Department:

Export / International Business – Backend Finance & Operations

Role Purpose:

To manage backend operations for export sales of commercial vehicles, ensuring smooth processing of export documentation, banking, GST, customs clearance, and taxation-related activities in compliance with international trade and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and support export sales team for commercial vehicle shipments and documentation.

· Handle export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, LC documentation, etc.) as per INCOTERMS.

· Liaise with banks for Letter of Credit (LC), bank guarantees, export remittance, and foreign exchange transactions.

· Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, LUT, and export-related taxation compliance.

· Coordinate with customs authorities and CHA for duty assessments, refunds, and documentation for vehicle exports.

· Maintain records for export incentives, duty drawback, MEIS/RODTEP claims, etc.

· Track shipment status and ensure timely dispatch and clearance of export consignments.

· Support internal audit, MIS, and reconciliation of export receivables and incentives.

· Collaborate with finance, logistics, and plant dispatch teams for end-to-end export process flow.

· Ensure adherence to company’s financial controls and compliance policies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

· Knowledge of export documentation and international trade procedures.

· Working knowledge of banking operations (LCs, forex, remittances).

· Strong understanding of GST, customs duty, and export taxation.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

· Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualification:

· Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or International Business.

• · Additional certification in Export-Import Management preferred.
