Job Description

We are looking for an export documentation executive who manages the paperwork for international shipments , ensuring compliance with all export / import laws and regulations . Their duties include coordination with client , preparing and verifying all necessary documents like invoices and bills of lading , coordinating with clients logistics partners , and tracking shipments to ensure smooth delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Document creation : Prepare and manage various export documents , such as commercial invoices , packing lists , and certificate of origin.
  • Compliance and regulations : Ensure all shipments comply with international trade laws, customs requirements , and company policies.
  • Logistics coordination : Liaise with shipping lines , freight forwarders , and transporters to arrange the movement of goods.
  • Shipment tracking : Monitor the progress of shipments from origin to destination.
  • Financial documentation : Handle documents related to payment terms , such as Letter's of Credit (LC's) and registering AD codes.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentations.
  • Coordinating with clients and production teams.

Important Skills and Knowledge :

  • Understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing various shipping documents.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with clients , carriers , and overseas offices.
  • Experience with shipping and logistics is essential.

Educational Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree : A bachelor's degree in business , logistics , international trade , or a related field is typically required.
  • Certificate Programs : A certificate in Export & Import Documentation or Logistics can be a valuable qualification.

Soft skills and personal attributes :

  • Attention to detail : This is a paramount skill , as errors in documentation can lead to significant delays and costs.
  • Organizational skills : The ability to manage multiple tasks and documents efficiently is crucial.
  • Problem - solving : The ability to address and resolve unexpected issues that arise in the global trade environment is important.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
