JOB TITLE Logistic Coordinator LOCATION Amritsar DIVISION Logistic REPORTS TO Manager YRS OF EXP 4-5 years TYPE Full Time POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for day-to-day preparation and administrations of sales agreements, packing instructions and port operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Daily freight rate updation to concerned depts. - Follow-up with Forwarders regarding container bookings, Delivery orders, vessel schedules, etc - Follow-up with CHAs regarding container movement, customs documentation, etc. - Tracking Lift on and Lift out of containers from container yard & our factory - Follow-up with Forwarder & CHA for export documentation. - Co-ordination with factory Operations team, CHA and Forwarders on shipping related queries & ensure smooth container movement - Tracking shipments until delivery at destination. - Third party agency & Govt department certifications & coordination related to export documentation. - Monitor freight & transportation invoices & coordinate on the same with Accounts department, CHA, Forwarder, Vendors, etc. - Reporting and tracking of excess or additional freight/local/destination charges/monitor sea freight rates & comparison. - Handling trouble shooting situations for smooth movement of containers & shipping related documents - Miscellaneous routine logistics related tasks - Prepare & maintain various daily/weekly & monthly MIS reports Performance Management: - Implement Performance Management system based on best practices with the aim to provide a fair and transparent performance management across the entire organization - Provide support to line managers in applying the Performance Management system should they face challenges with the implementation - Develop tools and support material to help employees and their line managers in understanding the Performance Management system. Payroll Management: - Attendance Management as per SOP. - Validation of Monthly Payroll. - End of services settlements. Training & Development: - Monitor preparation of annual training calendar based on Training needs analysis with annual training budget - Monitor learning needs assessments and creating learning plans, both behavioural and functional - Provide reporting on key programs and provide feedback reports on learning programs - Guide best practice of evaluation of training programs to assess its effectiveness - Monitor of Training ROI Admin and Compliance Activities: - Vendor Management. - Compliance Management - Document Management - Ad hoc activities as assigned by the Management - 4-5 years working experience in logistics, shipping & forwarding - MS Office proficient • Good Communication Skills - Knowledge of freight forwarding (Land/Sea/Air), Export/Import - Documentation & Customs formalities, Knowledge of third-party agency & Govt department certifications for shipping related documentation. - Quality correspondence through email, phone, etc. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
