The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with major clients in the electrical products segment. The role involves developing account strategies, driving sales, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires deep product knowledge, strong sales acumen, and a customer-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations. Sales Target Achievement : Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts. Account Strategy & Planning : Achieve assigned sales targets by identifying opportunities, promoting products, and closing deals with key accounts. Key Requirements: Product Promotion & Solution Selling : Create and implement account development plans aligned with customer needs and company goals. Regularly review and update forecasts. Understand and effectively present the company’s range of electrical products (e.g., cables, switchgear, lighting, panels, motors, Gearbox, switches). Cross-functional Coordination : Propose tailored solutions to meet client needs. Liaise with technical, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery, service, and support for key clients. Market Intelligence & Reporting : Track competitor activity, customer trends, and market developments. Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and strategic insights. Contract Management : Negotiate commercial terms, manage pricing strategies, and ensure timely contract renewals and compliance. Customer Retention & Growth : Drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and client engagement activities. Focus on long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty. Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience : Minimum 2–4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the electrical products or industrial supplies sector, with at least 2 years in direct front Sales Technical Skills : Good understanding of electrical products and systems. Soft Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Performance Metrics: Willingness to travel as per business needs. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
