Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential exhibitors and sponsors; generate leads via industry events, cold calling, and online research.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations; negotiate and finalize contracts.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals; monitor performance and optimize sales strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and excellent customer support before, during, and after events.
Act as primary contact for exhibitors and sponsors, providing regular updates and handling logistical details.
Collaborate with planning, marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure successful exhibitions.
Assist exhibitors with booth setup, logistics, and issue resolution during events.
Develop marketing strategies to attract exhibitors and sponsors; work with marketing team on campaigns and social media content.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities; refine sales strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and contract details; prepare sales reports and forecasts.
Contribute to overall sales strategy and identify new opportunities for exhibition growth.

Person Specification

2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the exhibition or events industry.
Proven exhibit and sponsorship sales success with measurable growth.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong relationship-building with clients and partners.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Understanding of the exhibition/events industry is a plus.
