Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential exhibitors and sponsors; generate leads via industry events, cold calling, and online research.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations; negotiate and finalize contracts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals; monitor performance and optimize sales strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and excellent customer support before, during, and after events.
  • Act as primary contact for exhibitors and sponsors, providing regular updates and handling logistical details.
  • Collaborate with planning, marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure successful exhibitions.
  • Assist exhibitors with booth setup, logistics, and issue resolution during events.
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract exhibitors and sponsors; work with marketing team on campaigns and social media content.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities; refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and contract details; prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Contribute to overall sales strategy and identify new opportunities for exhibition growth.
Person Specification
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the exhibition or events industry.
  • Proven exhibit and sponsorship sales success with measurable growth.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building with clients and partners.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of the exhibition/events industry is a plus.
