The position is responsible to develop and execute long-term category strategies, optimize procurement spending, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless procurement operations . The role focuses on cost efficiency, supplier performance, contract management, and process improvement to support business growth and operational excellence. Role & responsibilities Develop long-term category strategies and execute them effectively Leverage procurement spend analytics to drive informed decisions Build strong supplier relationships to enhance performance and mutual growth Manage supplier performance and improve service levels Handle supply escalations and collaborate with plant procurement teams Ensure timely and cost-effective new product launches Oversee contract management and procurement policy adherence Track COGS, supplier performance, payment terms, and key KPIs Streamline processes through simplification and digitalization Preferred candidate profile Knowledge: Knowledge of food RMs, Strategic Sourcing, Negotiation, COGS, Digitization. Skills: Good communication, Negotiation, Decision making. Attitude: Strong sense of ownership and accountability, Assertive, Collaborative.
