JOB PURPOSE: Overseeing Human Capital Management function to support the organization's growth and operations. Managing workforce strategy, talent acquisition, employee development, and creating a productive work culture. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for various roles within the organization. Coordinate and conduct interviews, reference checks, and job offers. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Act as a point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and issues, providing timely and effective resolution. Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations. Handle disciplinary actions and performance management in accordance with company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, employment history, and compensation information. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Prepare and manage HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts and policies. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards specific to the food processing sector. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements. Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Support career development initiatives and performance appraisal processes. Promote and enforce health and safety standards in the workplace. Assist in the development of health and safety policies and conduct regular safety audits. Prepare and analyze HR reports related to recruitment, employee performance, turnover, and other key metrics. Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Educational Qualification(s): Bachelors degree in any stream, Diploma/MBA, in Human Resource, MSW or MLW Prior Experience: Minimum of 03-05 years of experience in HR roles, in manufacturing industry or food processing industry. Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Skills & Personal Attributes Ability to identify and attract skilled candidates for various roles within the food processing industry. This includes understanding the specific skills and experience needed for roles like production workers, quality control specialists, and R&D staff. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards, including food safety laws, occupational health and safety requirements, and labor laws. Skills in managing employee relations, addressing grievances, and resolving conflicts effectively to maintain a positive work environment. Capability to co-ordinate training programs that cover industry-specific skills, safety protocols, and employee development. Ability to help shape the companys culture, structure, and processes as the organization grows, ensuring alignment with its goals and values. Understanding of compensation structures, benefits packages, and how to develop competitive offerings to attract and retain talent. Skills in using HR data to make informed decisions, track key metrics, and analyze trends to improve HR practices. Familiarity with HR software and tools, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), human resource information systems (HRIS), and other relevant technology. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, adapting to changes and challenges as the company grows. High level of accuracy in handling documents, compliance issues, and employee records to avoid legal and operational issues. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate, with a focus on practical solutions. High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Strong ability to build relationships and work effectively with a diverse group of people, from entry-level employees to senior management. Awareness and respect for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, especially important in a multicultural workforce. A focus on understanding and meeting the needs of internal stack holders (employees) and ensuring a positive employee experience.
