Job Description

As the Executive Housekeeper, your primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of the hotel's guest rooms and public areas. You will lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, playing a crucial role in upholding the hotel's reputation and providing a comfortable environment for guests. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the work of the housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housekeeping assistants, and laundry staff. - Create work schedules, assign tasks, and train team members to ensure adherence to established standards. - Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and orderliness. - Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper functionality. - Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet or exceed cleanliness standards, addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively. - Assist in preparing the housekeeping department budget, monitor expenses, and manage within budgetary constraints. - Recruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive working environment and addressing performance issues. - Collaborate with other hotel departments to meet guest requests promptly and resolve any issues or concerns. - Ensure housekeeping operations comply with safety and hygiene regulations, implementing health and safety protocols and training staff accordingly. - Prepare regular reports on departmental performance, including occupancy rates, cleanliness scores, and budget adherence, providing updates to hotel management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field preferred. - Proven experience in hotel housekeeping with a track record of increasing responsibility. - Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail skills. - Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning techniques, and hotel management software. - Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adhere to local health and safety regulations.,
