Position: Executive Housekeeper Location: White Wharf Beach Resort, Morjim, Goa Department: Housekeeping Reports to: General Manager Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite About the Property White Wharf Beach Resort is a premier beachfront resort in Morjim, Goa, featuring 100 well-appointed rooms and suites, lush landscaped gardens, an all-day dining restaurant, French bakery and café, banquets for up to 400 guests, a pool bar, and exceptional leisure facilities including a gym and swimming pool. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage the Housekeeping Department. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic appeal across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will play a key role in upholding the resort's reputation for luxury and comfort. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and staff housing Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff and supervisors Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards Manage departmental budgets, inventory, linen par levels, and procurement of supplies Implement and maintain SOPs and quality assurance programs Coordinate with Maintenance, Front Office, and F&B teams for seamless guest experiences Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests efficiently and courteously Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards as per government and brand policies Lead initiatives in sustainability, energy savings, and eco-friendly practices in housekeeping Prepare reports and present updates to the General Manager periodically Requirements Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or relevant field Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at a luxury resort or 4/5-star hotel Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in managing large teams and departmental budgeting Excellent knowledge of housekeeping systems and modern cleaning techniques Experience in pre-opening and handling large inventories is an advantage Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Accommodation and meals Career growth in a professionally managed resort Opportunity to work in a vibrant and scenic location in Goa Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Application Question(s): Current Monthly Salary Notice Period Work Location: In person
