Executive Housekeeper

As the Housekeeping Manager at our esteemed establishment, your role involves overseeing the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry departments. You will be responsible for ensuring that guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. Your attention to detail will be crucial in completing inspections and ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly to uphold guest and employee satisfaction within the operating budget. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate guest room status efficiently to the Front Desk - Collaborate effectively with the Engineering department for guestroom maintenance - Supervise the general cleaning schedule of the property - Assign tasks for immediate room cleaning and prepare work assignments for check-outs - Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure adequacy - Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards - Assist in procuring guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms - Implement and supervise an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public spaces - Address areas needing attention, provide necessary feedback to staff, and ensure proper allocation of supplies and uniforms Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field OR - 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major from an accredited university (no work experience required) At our company, Marriott International, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
