Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Credentialing Team at Teleradiology Solutions, a leading teleradiology group providing services to hospitals globally. As an Intern/Credentialing Executive, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that healthcare professionals meet all necessary requirements to practice within healthcare organizations. Your role will involve verifying qualifications, licenses, certifications, and professional history of healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities: - Primary Source Verification (PSV): - Verify professional licenses, board certifications, and educational qualifications directly from issuing authorities. - Contact previous employers, educational institutions, and licensing bodies to confirm credentials. - Document Management: - Maintain organized and up-to-date files of all credentialing documents. - Ensure timely renewals of certifications and licenses, and track expiration dates. - Update and maintain credentialing software/databases with relevant information. - Compliance and Accreditation: - Ensure all credentialing activities meet requirements of regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies. - Prepare credentialing files for internal audits or external accreditation processes. - Provider Enrolment: - Submit and track provider applications for participation in various healthcare networks. - Communication: - Serve as the liaison between healthcare providers and institutions. - Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of credentialing processes. - Problem Solving and Issue Resolution: - Handle discrepancies or issues during the verification process. - Investigate and resolve any red flags or inconsistencies in providers" history or documentation. - Process Improvement: - Identify opportunities to streamline credentialing processes for more efficient workflows. - Stay updated with industry standards and credentialing regulations. Qualifications Required: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of credentialing systems. - Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices in credentialing. Educational Requirements: - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. - Previous experience in credentialing or medical staff services preferred.,
