Position Overview: Job Title: Executive - Component Sourcing (Purchase) Department: Product Location: Gurugram (HQ) Reports To: Business Head Type of Position: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Executive - Component Sourcing (Purchase) to manage and oversee the procurement of PCBA components from China. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in sourcing electronic components and working closely with suppliers, particularly from China. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a growing electronics manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Component Sourcing: Source and procure PCBA components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, ICs) from suppliers in China, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement. Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating prices, terms, and lead times to ensure optimal sourcing solutions. Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality teams to ensure components meet quality standards and specifications, and resolve any quality issues with suppliers. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of sourced components to ensure the continuity of production and avoid delays. Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, bulk purchasing, and exploring alternate suppliers. Market Research: Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers to ensure competitive sourcing strategies. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all sourcing activities, including supplier contracts, orders, and delivery schedules. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering teams to align on component requirements and production schedules. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing electronic components (preferably PCBA components) from China or other international markets. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of PCBA components and electronics manufacturing processes. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure the best pricing and terms with suppliers. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in working with international suppliers. Vendor Relationship Management: Experience in building and maintaining long-term supplier relationships. ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems for tracking orders and managing supplier data. Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality concerns efficiently. Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with Chinese business practices and supplier dynamics.
