Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Goa, India for an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating innovative menus, overseeing food preparation and presentation, maintaining high culinary standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires overseeing inventory, managing kitchen budgets, collaborating with other departments, and training and mentoring junior chefs to build a cohesive team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in menu creation and food preparation
• Strong knowledge of modern Indian, European and Mediterranean cuisines
• Proven ability to manage kitchen operations and maintain high culinary standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Experience with inventory management and kitchen budget oversight
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with other departments
• Formal culinary training or degree is preferred
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury or fine dining restaurant
• Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in the culinary arts
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
