Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef specializing in Continental cuisine to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality, ensuring efficient kitchen management, and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Leadership & Food QualityDirect and supervise all food preparation activities while collaborating closely with the management team. Develop, design, and innovate Continental cuisine menus, including food and beverage pairings. Produce high-quality dishes with excellent presentation, consistency, and flavor. Ensure all food served meets top quality and safety standards. Regularly review product quality and introduce improvements. Kitchen Management & OperationsLead and oversee all kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Train, guide, and mentor new and existing employees on kitchen procedures and standards. Prepare food according to recipes, quality expectations, and portion standards. Ensure all workstations are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and hygiene guidelines. Monitor, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of kitchen equipment. Manage inventory, including planning, ordering, and controlling stock levels. Estimate future operational needs for raw materials, utensils, and cleaning supplies. Schedule and organize staff shifts. Maintain high levels of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout the kitchen. Customer Service & Front-of-House CoordinationCoordinate with the Front-of-House (FOH) team to ensure seamless daily café operations. Respond quickly and professionally to customer feedback and complaints. Work towards maximizing customer satisfaction and delivering superior service experiences. Financial & Administrative ResponsibilitiesControl operational costs and implement effective measures to reduce waste. Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and annual reports on kitchen expenses, revenues, and performance. Assist in planning promotional activities, brand initiatives, and community engagement. Recommend strategies to attract a wider customer base, including menu promotions, offers, and social media ideas. Professional ExpectationsMaintain a high level of organization, discipline, and punctuality. Display a professional appearance, grooming, and overall work ethic. Demonstrate creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Qualifications & SkillsProven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef specializing in Continental cuisine. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practices. Creativity in menu design and plate presentation. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask efficiently.
