Executive - Bio-Medical Engineering Department

Job Description

The major aim is to have a person who will be responsible for bio-medical engineering related works and the overall maintenance of all bio-medical equipment at Tata Medical Center. Diagnose & correct system and equipment malfunction Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, equipment repairs and failures Pre-Installation / site inspection / installation / commissioning of new equipment Regular preventive maintenance / safety / performance testing / calibrations Maintaining the annual calendar for calibration & preventive maintenance Maintaining documentation for all medical equipment as per norms given by accreditation Assist with and evaluate third party repairs Tagging of each & every equipment with RFID Maintaining the sample transport system with pneumatic chute system Maintaining day to day required spares inventory Qualification: B Tech/BE in Bio-Medical Engineering Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of post B Tech/BE experience in a hospital. Specialized training in bio-medical equipment is desirable.
