Executive - Accounting

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Executive with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the overall finance department. This role requires a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Receivable : Support the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts; reconcile vendor and customer accounts. Bank Reconciliations : Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are recorded, and discrepancies are addressed. Journal Entries : Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and corrections. Month-End Close : Contribute to the month-end closing process, ensuring all relevant financial data is accurately captured and reported. Data Entry Record Keeping : Maintain accurate financial records, and ensure data is entered correctly into accounting systems. Support Audits : Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information in a timely manner. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience : 2 - 4 years of experience in a basic accounting or finance role. Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel All Common Excel Formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot table, Index match, Sumif, Sumifs, Countif, countifs, etc) Experience with accounting software basic Tally ERP is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
