Location: Shollinganallur Campus, Chennai Position: Examination Officer IGCSE Experience Required: 3-5 years in exam coordination or administration (preferably in IGCSE schools) Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Master’s degree in any discipline Joining Requirement: Immediate Job Overview Gateway International School is seeking an Examination Officer to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of IGCSE examinations at our Shollinganallur campus. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of Cambridge International examination procedures. Key Responsibilities Examination Planning & Coordination Plan and manage IGCSE examination schedules, timetables, and venues. Ensure proper registration of candidates for internal and external assessments. Liaise with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) for exam-related communications. Compliance & Documentation Ensure strict adherence to Cambridge exam regulations and school policies. Maintain accurate records of exam entries, results, and certificates. Prepare and submit reports to Cambridge and school leadership. Logistics & Exam Conduction Arrange and supervise exam halls, invigilators, and required materials. Ensure confidentiality and security of exam papers and answer scripts. Manage the smooth execution of online and offline assessments. Student & Faculty Support Guide students on exam formats, rules, and requirements. Assist teachers in exam-related queries and grading procedures. Address exam-related concerns from students, parents, and staff. Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any relevant field. Experience: 3-5 years in examination coordination (IGCSE/Cambridge). Should have at least 2 years in CIE Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Cambridge exam portals, MIS systems, and report generation. Attention to Detail: Ability to manage large-scale data, deadlines, and accuracy. Communication & Leadership: Strong skills in handling students, faculty, and external boards. Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and address examination challenges efficiently.
