Estimation, Tendering & Proposal Engineer(Electrical Substation)

Job Title : Estimation, Tendering, and Proposal Engineer / Manager – Substation Projects

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Experience : 6 Years in substation or switchyard estimating, tendering, and proposal development. Proven track record of successfully managing estimation and tendering processes for high-voltage (66 KV / 220 KV / 400 KV) electrical projects. Should be techno commercial.

Role Overview:
Should be well versed in detailed cost estimates and comprehensive proposals for high-voltage (66 KV / 220 KV / 400 KV) substation and switchyard projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate budgeting, competitive bidding, and alignment with project specifications and client requirements. Must be well conversant with the commercial aspects like taxes duties and Payment terms, LC, ABG, PBG etc.

Key Responsibilities:

· Cost Estimation:

o Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services for substation projects.

o Analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accurate and complete estimates.

· Tendering Process:

o Manage the full tender cycle: pre-qualification, bid prep, submission.

o Material take-off from the Tender Documents Drawings.

o Coordinate internal inputs, review vendor bids, ensure compliance with client and industry standards.

· Proposal Development:

o Lead creation of technical-commercial proposals that align with client needs and project objectives.

o Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to integrate all aspects.

· Risk Assessment:

o Identify risks and opportunities in estimating & tendering.

o Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.

· Data Management:

o Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools to reflect current market conditions and project learnings.

· Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

o Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather requirements.

o Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify scope and address queries.

· Team Leadership:

o Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
