Role & responsibilities Application Support & Maintenance: Implementation of best suitable applications to the group. Provide expert-level support for hospital software applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the applications and integration with other systems. Regularly monitor application performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues. Apply updates, patches, and configuration changes to applications in a controlled and timely manner. System Configuration & Implementation: Lead the implementation and configuration of new healthcare applications or upgrades. Ensure proper integration between different hospital information systems (e.g., Electronic Health Records (EHR), HRMS, Payment gateways, LIS, ERP, ADetc.,.). Provide training to hospital staff on the effective use of applications. Collaboration with Clinical & Administrative Teams: Work closely with clinical and operational departments to understand requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements through technology. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of healthcare software with hospital infrastructure. Liaise with vendors to resolve application-related issues and facilitate system enhancements. Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, etc. Work with security teams to implement and enforce secure practices for healthcare applications and data management. Conduct regular audits to ensure system integrity and security. Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals. IT Compliances for NABH, JCI, ISO and other related standards. Generate regular reports on system performance, issues, and resolution timelines. Provide input to disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical hospital systems. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of hospital IT systems and healthcare applications. Database management, integration, and scripting knowledge. Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting IT applications in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital environment. In-depth experience with healthcare applications such as HIS , EMR, LIS, ERP (SAP /Oracle / MS D365) and integrations is mandatory . Evaluation and Implementation experience of HMS and ERP (SAP / Oracle /MS D365) along with integration is required. Strong understanding of hospital workflows, clinical processes, and the role of IT in healthcare. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within complex healthcare systems.
