Equity Research Analyst

You will be joining J.P. Morgan's Global Research Center (GRC) in Mumbai, established in 2003 to support the firm's global equity research teams. As an Analyst, your role will involve: - **Research and analysis:** - Understanding project objectives and hypotheses for analysis - Gathering and analyzing data from various sources for industry and company analysis - Building detailed financial models, reports, and datasets - **Storyboarding and communication:** - Creating clear written reports and presentations to highlight insights and recommendations - Effectively communicating key arguments and insights to stakeholders - **Stakeholder engagement:** - Collaborating with global sector colleagues through calls and project responses - **Market intelligence:** - Developing in-depth industry, technology, regulatory, and company knowledge **Qualifications Required:** - Keen interest in financial markets and strong intellectual curiosity - Strong quantitative skills and analytical aptitude - Proficiency in Excel, internet research, MS Office, and Bloomberg - Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills - Attention to detail and ability to work to high standards within tight deadlines - Motivated to learn, manage projects independently, and advanced Excel knowledge - Programming experience in languages like Python, R, SQL would be beneficial If you have experience in Equity Research, programming skills, and a postgraduate or MBA qualification with an excellent academic background, it would be considered a plus.,
