We are looking for a skilled EPU Manager to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in Fabrication and Welding, with a strong background in mechanical engineering.
Roles and Responsibility
- Enforce environment, health, and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide safety training and improve safety communications to enhance employee knowledge and awareness.
- Ensure production meets the highest quality standards by implementing quality control measures.
- Drive team compliance with production planning and manage corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Optimize resource allocation and manage the monthly cost base to maximize efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement in processes and team performance to drive growth and development.
- Analyze accidents and implement action plans, organizing problem-solving activities and updating technical work permits.
Job Requirements
- Degree in B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a strong foundation in mechanical principles.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management to ensure a safe working environment.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality products.
- A certification in relevant safety or quality management systems is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities to lead teams and communicate effectively.
- Background from Railway industry.
- Lean six sigma yellow belt certified.
