Opportunity with TEKsystems Job Description: Enterprise Network Engineer Exp: 4-10yrs+ Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate to 30days Work Mode: Hybrid About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust enterprise networking solutions. This role focuses on Cisco technologies, requiring expertise in routing, switching, migration projects, and large-scale network architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructures. Required Skills (Must meet all criteria below) Cisco Expertise: 57 years of hands-on experience with Cisco routers/switches (Catalyst 9000/6500/4500/3850/6800). Internal knowledge of Cisco product architecture and configurations. Protocols & Technologies: Proficiency in BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, QoS, and multicast. Layer 2/3 implementation and troubleshooting (VLAN, STP, HSRP, VRRP). Migration Experience: Proven track record in executing network migration windows and projects. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities. Strong technical writing skills for test plans, migration docs, and reports. Ability to work independently and in teams. Key Responsibilities Network Implementation & Support: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst (9000/6500/4500/3850/6800) and Nexus (7K/5K/2K) product lines. Implement Layer 2/3 solutions, including VLANs, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS. Optimize network performance through QoS, multicast, and IP/MPLS configurations. Migration & Project Execution: Lead network migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation. Develop detailed test plans, implementation strategies, and migration documentation. Technical Leadership: Provide Tier 3/4 support for complex network issues. Collaborate with architects to design scalable enterprise solutions. Customer Engagement: Interface with customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Present technical proposals and reports to stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (7K/5K/2K). Advanced certifications: CCNP, CCIE (R&S, Data Center).
