Work Location

As an Enterprise Digital Foundation Architect your main responsibilities is to deliver value for customers by providing guidance and creating actionable Technology Strategies, Business Cases, Operational Models and best practices for Enterprise IT, focused on HCL’s Digital Foundation Services which includes Hybrid Cloud, Digital workplace and Cyber Security solutions. This role requires a blend of value creation and revenue generation.

About the Role

You will be taking the lead in customers engagement for HCL’s strategic accounts (EN accounts) making sure all parts of the engagement are aligned to create valuable and actionable outputs to accelerate the customer’s Digital foundation adoption and creating business value. You’ll be working closely with customer’s IT stakeholders as well as HCL internal teams being a trusted advisor delivering the right solutions to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers in their end-to-end Digital Foundation (Hybrid Cloud, Digital workplace and Cyber security solutions) journey right from strategy, migration, DevOps, modernization and optimization.
• Helping customers to create Digital Foundation (Hybrid Cloud, workplace and Cybersecurity) strategy, adoption and roadmaps.
• Helping customers to create operational models and organisational structures to support Digital foundation services adoption.
• Building business cases, TCO and ROI models to support the initiatives.
• Work as a trust advisor for the customer, create and identify opportunities. Work with larger HCL teams (Pre-sales, practice teams, modernization teams etc) and ensure these opportunities are converted to projects with actions.
• Convert strategies and initiatives to actionable statement of work thus leading to tangible revenue for HCL.
• Support internal pre-sales and sales in customer conversations (tech days, Executive briefing session).

Qualifications

• Experience in similar customer facing role driving and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstratable skills to think strategically on business, technical, and organisational challenges.
• Highly analytical, with more than 15+ years of IT experience.
• Experience from delivering large-scale Hybrid Cloud, Digital workplace and Cyber security projects in highly complex enterprise environments.
• Independently drive customer conversation and willing to guide and collaborate with larger HCL teams.
• Drive thought leadership in accounts and drive innovation by understanding HCL capabilities/services and conduct research and recommend best fit solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good vertical knowledge in one of industries (Banking, Retail, Life Sciences, Manufacturing).

Required Skills

• Candidate should have Architecture experience in any two of the areas which includes Hybrid Cloud, Digital Workplace, Cyber Security solution and Network. It is mandatory to have multi skill in two of these areas.
• Good understanding of Data infrastructure solutions such as Hyper converged, Virtualization, Storage, SD WAN.
• Experience in one of the three major public clouds AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Good understanding of Digital workplace strategy and solutions.
• Well versed with Cyber security solutions.
• Experience in Cloud assessment, DC and Cloud migration approach and methodologies.
• Well versed with Cloud design patterns including Landing zones.
• Experience in Cloud native such as Kubernetes, Docker.
• Understanding of Cloud native platforms such as OpenShift, Pivotal.
• Popular application middleware stacks and Databases.
• Good understanding of service management/Operating models concepts.
• Should have experience in accelerating automation.
• Experience in application modernization 12 factor, Microservices etc.
• Understanding of Gen AI solutions and strategies.
• Understanding of Digital strategy approach.
