Role Overview: You will be responsible for replacing a Biology teacher at a public secondary school in the Normandy Academy. Your mission as a secondary school teacher includes: Key Responsibilities: - Upholding and transmitting the values of the Republic - Developing students" knowledge, skills, and critical thinking - Guiding students in their professional discovery - Encouraging students to become responsible citizens - Contributing to the students" educational and academic journey, knowledge transmission, and skill development within national programs or frameworks - Fulfilling duties such as teaching, lesson preparation, evaluating written or oral assignments, communicating with parents for student follow-up, visiting companies for monitoring professional training periods, participating in school life activities (class council, teaching council, pedagogical council, etc.), and collaborating with the team - Analyzing specific educational needs and implementing differentiated and adapted teaching practices Qualification Required: - Knowledge of the education system, its organization, and challenges - Understanding of disciplinary knowledge and its teaching methods - Familiarity with learning processes and mechanisms - Proficiency in student evaluation methods - Basic understanding of child and adolescent psychology and sociology - Pedagogical use of digital tools Please note that teachers are under the supervision of the school principal and must adhere to the institution's rules and regulations.
