Seeking a dynamic and experienced Communicative English Trainer to enhance the English communication skills of our showroom staff. The ideal candidate will develop and deliver engaging training programs focused on improving staff proficiency in spoken English, particularly in the context of customer interactions. This role is crucial in ensuring our staff can effectively communicate with a diverse clientele, build rapport, and provide a premium customer experience. Responsibilities: * Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of staff's current English communication skills and identify areas for improvement. * Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive training modules tailored to the specific needs of a jewellery retail environment, including vocabulary related to jewellery, sales, and customer service. * Training Delivery: Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions focusing on: Pronunciation and accent improvement. Vocabulary expansion. Sentence structure and grammar for effective communication. Role-playing customer interactions. Handling customer inquiries and concerns. Building rapport and establishing a professional demeanor. Effective telephone communication. * Materials Development: Create and provide engaging training materials, including handouts, presentations, and audio/video resources. * Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the progress of staff through assessments, feedback sessions, and observation of on-the-job performance. * Feedback and Coaching: Provide constructive feedback and ongoing coaching to staff to reinforce learning and improve communication skills. * Stay Updated: Remain current with best practices in English language training and customer service communication. * Adaptability: Modify training programs and materials based on feedback and evolving business needs. * Collaboration: Work closely with showroom management to align training objectives with business goals. Qualifications: * Proven experience as an English language trainer, preferably in a retail or customer service environment. * Excellent command of spoken and written English. * Strong understanding of communicative language teaching methodologies. * Ability to create engaging and interactive training sessions. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. * Ability to motivate and inspire others. * Relevant certifications in English language teaching (e.g., TEFL, TESOL) are highly desirable. * Experience in the Retail industry, or with luxury goods is a bonus. Skills: * Excellent English communication skills (both spoken and written). * Strong presentation and facilitation skills. * Ability to create engaging and interactive learning environments. * Proficiency in using training tools and resources. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
