Role Overview: Join Cisco's AI Platform Team to contribute to shaping the future of enterprise AI. You will collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to design, develop, and operationalize AI systems that drive business impact globally. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on large language model (LLM)-driven and agentic AI solutions. - Drive technical strategy across model development, optimization, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. - Collaborate with research and product teams to transform advanced AI capabilities into robust, scalable, production-ready systems. - Influence architectural decisions and engineering standards to ensure reliability, efficiency, and security within the AI platform. - Advocate for best practices in experimentation, model governance, responsible AI, and performance optimization. - Enable the team to address ambiguity, creatively solve complex problems, and deliver impactful solutions at scale. Qualifications Required: - BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or a related technical field, or MS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. - Proven experience in leading engineering teams and delivering production ML/AI systems. - Strong portfolio showcasing successful large-scale machine learning projects. - Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, large language models (LLMs), and statistical modeling.
