As an Engineering Manager at Barclays, you will be accountable for global engineering priority and product ownership of the object storage product portfolio. You will ensure the products are easy to use, understand, and secure, and operate efficiently by taking advantage of opportunities to automate and offer as a service. Your responsibilities will cover all locations where the product is consumed - APAC, EMEA, and US. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage high-performance, globally diverse teams in a dynamic environment - Have knowledge or experience with storage technologies such as Dell/EMC VMAX, Power Max, or Power Flex arrays, Pure Storage Flash Array/Flash Blade, and Fusion Cloud workload placement - Familiarity with cloud mobility, storage gateway, and automated data management products **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in managing teams and working with storage technologies - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to take end-to-end ownership of deliverables In this role, you will lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives. **Additional Details:** As a Vice President, you are expected to contribute to setting strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. You will manage resources, budgets, policies, and deliver continuous improvements while demonstrating clear leadership behaviours.
