Engineering Manager

Job Description

Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage high-performing technical teams. Develop scalable and distributed systems using Node.js, Java, or similar languages. Design and maintain microservices, RESTful APIs, and work with relational databases like MySQL. Own the development and operational support of mission-critical enterprise systems. Collaborate across teams, aligning efforts and fostering team cohesion. Manage and resolve conflicts constructively, encouraging a positive work culture. Champion best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Communicate design decisions effectively both verbally and in written form. Mentor and support engineers in their professional growth. Required Skills: Hands-on knowledge of Next.js, Nest.js, PHP, Laravel. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with SAST tools (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk) and DAST tools (e.g., Checkmarx) is a plus. Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10–12 years of software development and architecture experience. 2+ years as an Engineering Manager, focused on team well-being and growth.
