Engineering Lead

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading end-to-end engineering for cloud-hosted SaaS products. This role requires a strong product-building experience and a solid foundation in cloud-native architectures. Your hands-on engineering background will be essential in building and delivering scalable technology products. Furthermore, you will drive the right technical decisions across teams, with a specific emphasis on experience in the commercial insurance domain. Key Responsibilities: - Make architectural and technical decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and quality of the products. - Guide and mentor engineering teams, staying closely involved in the build process. - Work on AWS-based deployments and implement cloud engineering best practices. - Leverage Java, Python, and open-source technologies across the tech stack. - Identify opportunities to integrate AI into product workflows, with an expected awareness level of AI implementation. Qualifications Required: Must-Have Skills: - Experience in the commercial insurance technology sector. - Strong engineering/build background with a history of building products, not just managing teams. - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud and cloud-native application development. - Expertise in Java and open-source technologies, including Python and OSS frameworks. Good-to-Have: - Awareness of AI/ML use cases and understanding of how AI can enhance product capabilities.,
