Engineering Lead (Java Fullstack)

Role & responsibilities About Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack applications and test automation frameworks. This role requires deep expertise in Core Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express.js, NestJS), and React.js with a strong focus on cloud technologies, DevOps, and database management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development best practices, system architecture, and team mentorship. Job Responsibilities : Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in designing and implementing full-stack applications and Test Automation frameworks. System Architecture & Design: Architect scalable, high-performance, and secure applications using Core Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (Express.js, NestJS). Full-Stack Development: Develop backend services and APIs using Java & Node.js , and build front-end applications using React.js . Code Reviews & Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure the adoption of best software development practices. Cloud & DevOps Integration: Work with AWS or Azure for deployments and CI/CD pipelines. Database Management: Design efficient SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database structures. Security & Performance: Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across all layers. Agile Development: Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and team stand-ups. Requirements The following describes the general qualifications and physical, sensory and mental abilities normally associated with performing the essential functions of this position. 8+ years of experience in software development, including team leadership. Strong expertise in Core Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (Express.js, NestJS) . Hands-on experience with React.js for front-end development. Extensive experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks . Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases . Experience working with AWS or Azure , including deployment and CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems . Deep knowledge of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and DevOps principles . Proven track record of leading teams, conducting code reviews, and implementing best software development practices . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to make technical decisions. Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework .
