• Driving Engineering Productivity:

• Cost Controlling & Budget Management:

  Oversee financial activities related to global hardware and software engineering functions, ensuring spending aligns with strategic priorities and business objectives.

• Forecasting & Financial Planning:

  Develop accurate and forward-looking forecasts and budgets for global engineering, ensuring alignment with financial targets.

• Investment Decision Support:

  Model the financial impact of R&D investments, resource allocations, and new technology initiatives, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making.

• Business Partnering:

  Act as a trusted financial advisor to engineering leadership, offering real-time financial insights and collaborating on initiatives that drive efficiency and return on investment (ROI).

• Global Resource Optimization:

  Support the transition to a global engineering finance model, ensuring financial structures and processes support a more agile, efficient, and cost-effective approach to engineering.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with product development, program management, and procurement teams to ensure financial alignment with project milestones and strategic goals.

• Finance Leadership Expertise:

  Demonstrated success in a senior-level finance role, partnering with engineering, supply chain, or purchasing teams to drive financial performance.

• Industry Experience:

  Deep understanding of automotive, high-tech, or manufacturing finance, including cost structures, supplier management, and R&D investment strategies.

• Strategic & Analytical Thinker:

  Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business strategies that drive operational efficiency and cost savings.

• Change Management Experience:

  Proven ability to lead and implement financial process improvements in a global organization, particularly in periods of transformation.

• Business Partner Mentality:

  Strong collaboration skills, able to influence cross-functional stakeholders and provide data-driven insights to executive leadership.

• Advanced Financial Acumen:

  Expertise in financial modeling, cost analysis, scenario planning, and forecasting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.

• Education:

  Masters degree in Finance, Chartered Accountant or other relevant certifications strongly preferred.
