Engineer - Warehouse

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
• Maintain proper inventory of electrical materials, spares, and equipment.
• Ensure timely availability of required materials to the maintenance and project teams.
• Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, stock registers, and other inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions for replenishment.
• Coordinate with purchase and engineering departments for procurement planning.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation with system records.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO methods for material issuance.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of electrical items to avoid damage/deterioration.
• Adhere to safety, audit, and compliance requirements in store operations.
• Assist in vendor coordination for material delivery and returns.
• Generate MIS reports related to stock movement, consumption, and shortages.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in stores/inventory management, preferably in the electrical / engineering industry.
