Job Description: Engineer – Tendering & Estimation

Overview:
The Engineer – Tendering & Estimation will handle the complete Oil & Gas tendering cycle across PMC, O&M, EPC, and Design Engineering. The role includes preparation, evaluation, submission, coordination, and accurate cost estimation as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Estimation:

• Track tenders and assess participation opportunities.
• Review qualification criteria and prepare eligibility documents.
• Prepare/compile tender submissions, forms, and annexures.
• Develop cost estimates and pricing strategies.
• Submit tenders on time and follow up with clients.
• Provide shortfall documents/clarifications.
• Draft pre-bid queries and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Ensure online tender participation compatibility.
• Manage vendor registrations on portals.

Bid Evaluation & Negotiation:

• Conduct techno-commercial evaluations.
• Prepare TBA-CBA, comparative statements, and price bid analysis.
• Raise/resolve techno-commercial queries.
• Participate in price bid openings and evaluations.
• Support negotiation meetings.
• Provide award recommendations.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare approval notes, compliance documents, and supporting reports.
• Maintain weekly flash reports.
• Format technical documents (ECDA, DFR, market surveys).

Client & Vendor Coordination:

• Conduct meetings with clients/bidders.
• Coordinate with C&P for submissions.
• Follow up on related invoices and payments.
• Support vendor development activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical or related field.
• 1–5 years’ experience in tendering, estimation, or project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, bid evaluation, and estimation.
• Proficient in MS Office, tender portals, and document editing.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,767.92 per month
