Description
As an Engineer Project at Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for the implementation of Projects related to Packaged Gas Products (PGP), Special Gases, ESG, etc within the organization and to external customers including Applications. Embrace the opportunity to go beyond your job description and make a positive impact on the people you work with, the communities you serve, and the world we all live in at Linde, where your possibilities are endless. **Role Overview:** - Work with Business, Operations, and PGOE Team for developing Process design drawings for Green field & Brown field projects - Prepare project feasibility reports, cost estimates & execution plans - Ensure all statutory compliance and necessary actions for applying/renewing statutory licenses - Oversee project execution at site including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, PLC, etc - Review work progress periodically, identify functional gaps, and design corrections for effective work flows - Support in Preparation of process related drawings/P&IDs and getting internal and PGOE technical team approvals - Identify & develop Indigenous Equipments for cost-effectiveness, along with Identification of new/alternative vendors - Coordinate with procurement group for project purchases, and ensure smooth & efficient start-up and commissioning - Participate in preparation of country level CAPEX planning for production sites - Promote safety culture, implement Golden Rules of Safety, and ensure zero accidents at project sites - Support country/regional teams for new project initiatives and directive - Assist in inspection of major items as per procurement requirement and vendor audit - Actively involve in assessment and implementation of process/design changes for improvements - Support Sales & Marketing for new business prospects - Support in regional Harmonization & Standardization with respect to Legacy Operations/Procedures/ Global Best Practices - Support in due diligence and reviews for potential acquisition opportunities **Qualification Required:** - BE / B.Tech degree with specialization in Mechanical / Production / Structural Engineering - Minimum 3-5 years experience in Gas, Chemical, and Process industry - Experience in Project Management, Operations, Safety, Process piping, Structural engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Gas detectors, PLC, and electrical systems - Ability to understand P&ID, Structural drawings, Civil design, ESLD, and control circuits At Linde, you will be part of a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with a commitment to making the world more productive every day.
