Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of 10-15 personnel in the pattern shop. Ensure efficient pattern making using materials like CI, Al, Wooden, Epoxy, and Thermacole. Oversee and execute pattern making for shell molding, CO2 molding, and two-part molding systems. Plan, create, and maintain patterns with precision on CNC, VMC, VTL, and other general-purpose machine tools. Implement and optimize gating and risering methods for casting processes. Utilize casting simulation software to improve pattern design and production. Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency within the pattern shop. Manage new product development (NPD) and modifications to existing patterns. Take responsibility for layout preparation, markings, and other pattern shop activities. Provide regular reports to the Manager of Pattern Molding regarding team performance, progress, and issues. Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Foundry Technology, or related fields. 5-8 years of experience in a steel foundry, with exposure to pattern making and molding processes. Hands-on experience with CNC, VMC, VTL, and other general-purpose machine tools. Strong knowledge of pattern materials, molding methods, gating, and risering. Familiarity with casting simulation software. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead a group of 10-15 people. Age between 25-30 years. Strong problem-solving abilities and quick execution of NPDs and pattern modifications.
