Engineer - Field Service

Job Description: As a Service Engineer based in Kolkata, your role will involve installation, breakdown, and service maintenance for Injection molding machines. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end support to customers, including coordinating pre-installation requirements, troubleshooting machine problems, and offering solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing installation and servicing of all machines in the region - Conducting mould trials for machine shipment - Assembling machines and operating them at customer sites - Offering training to customers on machine operation and troubleshooting - Submitting field return parts for analysis and warranty cost recovery - Releasing flash for parts failure - Ensuring customer training and care visits - Generating spare parts business and recommendations - Preparing and submitting service reports for each machine - Maintaining software backup, hydraulics circuits, and bill of material on the service portal Basic Qualifications: - Completed full-time Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Plastics/Mechatronics - 2-6 years of experience in testing/maintenance/service of Injection molding machines About the Company: Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution, and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry.
