Engineering - Engineer (Expert) - Design & Development

Development and Construction of Products/Parts for Series Production (60%):

• Develop, design, and engineer products using tools like CAD, Excel, and MindMap.
• Create and revise drawings in CREO.
• Check and update technical documents.
• Update project documents and report to Engineering Manager/Team Leader.
• Provide design support for various work packages.

Product Data Management for Series Production (10%):

• Maintain material numbers and create material BOM and document info records.

Engineering Support Activities (30%):

• Create general arrangement drawings (GAD) and perform strength calculations.
• Support Sales with special GAD and templates.
• Complete tasks assigned by Engineering Manager/Team Leader.
• Conduct pre-studies for problem-solving.

• Experience in casting technologies. (Preferably Sand casting and Investment casting)

• Understanding of process parameters, solidification principles, defect analysis, and shrinkage allowance related to these casting techniques.

• Knowledge of casting pattern components such as feeder, exothermic sleeves, chills, sprue and runner.

• Capability to develop and optimize gating systems, ensuring directional solidification and minimizing casting defects.

• Experience with casting simulation software such as NovaFlow&Solid, MAGMASOFT, ProCAST.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience:

  5-9 years in valve design (ASME BPVC), proficient in CREO 2D & 3D (version 4.0+), basic knowledge of Project Management. SAP, AutoCAD, and GD & T knowledge is a plus.
