Engineer - Component Reliability / Overhaul

As an Engineer, Component Reliability at American Airlines" Tech Hub in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing operational efficient solutions to support aircraft systems and maintenance programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing engineering support for aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and operational engineering functions, focusing on CRJ-700/900 components - Collaborating with the Supply Chain team and component repair facilities to establish Component Build Standards on rotables components that drive operational issues - Ensuring correct Service Bulletins (SBs) are incorporated into Top Ten rotables - Collaborating with Technical Operations and Technical Services teams to ensure safe and reliable airline operations - Developing solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation - Reviewing Service Bulletins (SBs) from airframe manufacture or component manufacture for effectivity to PSA Fleet - Working with component OEMs and Repair facilities to ensure PSA understands technical challenges that impact PSA's fleet - Other duties as assigned by Tech Services leadership - Being willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA Headquarters **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field - FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field - Experience with CRJ-700/900 aircraft systems and components - Experience with Service Bulletins (SBs) and component repair facilities **Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:** - Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and operational engineering functions - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Strong communication and project management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the aviation industry and contribute to the success of American Airlines by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of aircraft components.,
