Engineer - 5G Protocol Stack Development

You will be working as a Qualcomm Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, a leading technology innovator that pushes the boundaries of what's possible to enable next-generation experiences and drives digital transformation. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on the design and development of the 5G protocol stack, including layers 1, 2, and 3 of 5G NR protocol stack. - Develop 3GPP 5G NR features and conduct system-level feature coding, development, and unit testing. - Collaborate with internal test teams and external customers to address issues effectively. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 1-3 years of Software Engineering or related work experience. - Master's degree in Engineering, ECE, EE, CE, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred. - Familiarity with 3GPP 5G NR Specifications. - 1-3 years of experience in NR or LTE protocol development is desirable.
