We are looking for an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist who will provide strategic guidance and support to business stakeholders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and the HR team in all aspects of employee relations. This role is essential in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring legal compliance, while helping the business navigate complex employee matters. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advisory support on ER policies, standards, and disciplinary procedures to HRBPs, business stakeholders, and the HR team, ensuring alignment with the organization's ethical guidelines and values. Offer consultative services to HRBPs in handling disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring consistent application of policies and best practices. Contribute to the development and refinement of ER policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring they meet local cultural, legal, and organizational standards. Lead the design and implementation of training and awareness programs for HRBPs, line managers, and employees on ER matters, including Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) training. Provide consultation and support to ER committees, ensuring effective management of cases related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, regulatory compliance, or any violations of organizational codes of ethics. Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements by developing and implementing policies and procedures that adhere to legal standards. Maintain adherence to the HR risk framework and data privacy regulations as per organizational and legal requirements. Monitor and track ER metrics, identifying trends and providing recommendations to HR leadership for continuous improvement. Manage performance-related matters in accordance with local and global guidelines, ensuring fair and consistent handling. Required Qualifications & Skills: In-depth understanding of employee grievance resolution, investigative techniques, and organizational HR policies and practices. Strong knowledge of labor laws, including central and state laws, as well as statutory compliance requirements. Proven experience in formulating HR and ER policy standards, governance procedures, and compliance practices. Expertise in HR management principles, employee relations, and disciplinary processes. Previous experience in an employee relations or HR function with a strong ER focus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and address complex employee issues, offering sound judgment and balanced solutions. Exceptional ability to build relationships and partner effectively with business stakeholders to resolve challenging employee matters. Skilled in risk assessment, particularly legal exposure, and the ability to drive appropriate actions to mitigate risks. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Experience handling highly confidential matters with discretion and maturity. Ability to work independently, managing your own workload and providing leadership in ER-related matters. Exposure to Industrial Relations, including union management, negotiations, collective bargaining, and labor litigation, would be a distinct advantage. Additional Qualifications: Degree-level education or equivalent. A full-time Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field from a reputable institution. Experience working with senior business stakeholders at both local and global levels. Deep technical knowledge of HR and ER practices. Strong communication, influencing, and consulting skills. High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to manage challenging situations with tact.
