Embedded/IoT Firmware Internship

The Embedded Firmware IoT Internship at AriveGuru Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd is designed for M.Tech/MS students passionate about embedded systems and IoT innovation. You will collaborate with R&D and product engineering teams on real-world projects focused on robotics, automation, and intelligent devices. The internship provides hands-on experience in full product lifecycle development, utilizing the latest microcontroller technologies and IoT frameworks. - Design, develop, and optimize firmware in C/C++ or MicroPython for ARM Cortex-M-based microcontrollers such as ESP32 and STM32 - Interface and integrate digital and analog modules (sensors, actuators) over UART, SPI, I2C, and GPIO - Work closely with the hardware team for debugging, field testing, system bring-up, and validation in simulation and real-world environments - Conduct unit and integration testing, contribute to documentation of code, hardware interfacing, and test procedures - Participate in design reviews, propose firmware architecture improvements To be eligible, you should be pursuing or a recent graduate of M.Tech/MS in Embedded Systems, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 8.0+. The internship is based in Bengaluru, lasting 6 months, with an internship completion certificate provided. Technical skills required: - Strong foundation in C/C++ for embedded development - Hands-on experience with microcontrollers like ESP32, STM32, or AVR - Familiarity with RTOS concepts, firmware debugging tools, low-level programming - Understanding of embedded communication protocols, experience with sensors, PWM, interrupts, timers, and GPIO management - Basic exposure to version control tools like Git Preferred skills: - Exposure to firmware security, power optimization, or bootloader development - Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms, knowledge of firmware development tools - Passion for robotics, automation, and real-time control systems You will gain hands-on experience in live projects across industrial automation, robotics, and smart hardware, receive mentorship from experienced engineers, insight into full product development cycle, and potential transition to a full-time position based on performance. The internship will be held in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The duration is 6 months with a day shift schedule.
