Electroplating Operator

Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electroplating Operator to join our team. In this role, you will execute electroplating processes with precision while ensuring compliance with NADCAP standards to guarantee the quality and reliability of coated materials. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate electroplating equipment to coat metal or non-metal items. Prepare components for plating by cleaning, masking, and ensuring proper surface preparation. Monitor plating solutions and ensure chemical compositions are within specified parameters. Ensure all operations adhere to NADCAP compliance standards and prepare for audits. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance when required. Perform quality checks on plated items to meet NADCAP and customer specifications. Work collaboratively with the production and quality teams to maintain compliance and achieve operational goals. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. Prior experience in electroplating or a related field, especially with NADCAP compliance preferred. Knowledge of plating techniques, chemical solutions, and surface preparation methods. Familiarity with NADCAP standards, audits, and requirements. Work Environment: Exposure to chemicals and handling heavy machinery in a controlled setting. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
