Role & responsibilities The job responsibilities of this position include: 1. Well acquainted with Electronics design of elctro-optical devices as per design requirements. 2. 3D modelling and design analysis of components, module and complete device. 3. Generation of applicable design drawings. 4. Well acquainted with various design documentation. 5. Fabrication of prototype/finalized electronic assemblies/sub-assemblies/PCBs. 6. Design new products mechanical housing so as to incorporate PCBs, Connectors. Plugs, Layout control models and Thermal Core/ Image intensifier Tubes etc. 7. Modify existing designs to cater new requirements. 8. Select new parts, taking into consideration: (i) Obsolescence (ii) Availability (iii) Cost 9. Preparation of reports in order to determine: (a) Design feasibility (b) Cost effectiveness (c) Customer demand for new and existing products JOB SPECIFICATIONS 1. Diploma, Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics or a related field. 2. Must have at least 2-5 years working experience with various types of design software and basic electronic circuitry/PCB design of assemblies/sub- assemblies. 3. Hands on experience in Opto - electronic Devices and thermal image processing will be an Added advantage. 4. Proficient in the electronic design of electro-optical devices as per design requirements. 5. Skilled in generating detailed technical drawings for applicable designs. 6. 3D modelling and design analysis of components, module and complete device. 7. Must be willing to travel across India for demonstrations and trial purposes at client location. 8. Experience with ERP software, particularly SAP Business One, is preferred.
