Qualification

B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering

Key Skills & Responsibilities

Good working proficiency in CATIA and UG NX, with exposure to working with tooling and manufacturing teams for at least one complete product lifecycle
Proficiency in:
3D modeling
2D drafting
Assembly modules
Strong knowledge of automotive plastic, sheet metal, and casting product design
Experience or exposure to automotive electronics product development
Working knowledge of:
DFMEA
DFM
Manufacturing processes
Strong knowledge of advanced GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
Good understanding of FEA methods and core engineering analysis
Knowledge of plastic and metal material selection
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative design concepts
Good understanding of space analysis and interfaces with electronic components
Experience or exposure to vehicle electronic products such as:
Control Units
BCM
Audio/Video Systems
Remote Key Systems
Structural Parts (added advantage)
Good communication, presentation, and analytical skills
FORD & GM Teamcenter knowledge is an added advantage
