Job Description – Electrician (FMCG Unit) Position Title: Electrician Department: Maintenance / Engineering Reporting To: Maintenance Head / Engineering Manager Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a reputed FMCG or food processing unit Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to join our plant maintenance team. The candidate must have hands-on experience in electrical systems, troubleshooting, machine wiring, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of machines, panels, and utilities. Handle installation and repair of electrical equipment including motors, sensors, drives, control panels, and lighting systems. Ensure timely response to electrical breakdowns during shifts to avoid production delays. Maintain electrical safety standards and compliance as per factory norms. Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule and keep records updated. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for resolving electrical issues. Assist in new machinery installation and utility upgrades (e.g., compressors, packaging lines, etc.). Report any observed risks or equipment inefficiencies immediately to supervisors. Candidate Profile / Requirements: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an FMCG / food manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of industrial wiring, control circuits, VFDs, relays, contactors, etc. Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical documentation Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns Basic understanding of PLC panel layout is a plus Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills Key Competencies: Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Skills Electrical Safety Awareness Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Documentation and Reporting Shift Coordination and Response Efficiency Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹27,690.85 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
